Often seen wrapped in a fur boa, Betty was the quintessential pin-up gal, with gorgeous gams, and an all-American entertainer. Performing for the troops of WWII or in a chorus line, the platinum pin-up was queen of the term. A Hollywood movie studio dubbed a 1943 pinup picture of the actress "the picture that launched a million dreams." The term "pinup" was coined to describe the photographs of female actresses and singers that would decorate the barracks and planes of countless soldiers during World War II. Betty is an icon of feminine glamour, and an inspiration in Pink Collar film favorites "How to Marry a Millionaire" and "The Dolly Sisters." The blonde haired bombshell and her pink costumes in both films, serve as inspiration to the hues of Betty's Boa.
